Contacts
can send data or files to:
- Calendar — a Contact's address can be chosen as a Calendar event's location
- FaceTime — FaceTime communications can be started from the Contact record
- Maps — addresses can be clicked to show the locations in Maps
- Mail — emails can be clicked to write email, or the Contact info can be shared via email
- Messages — emails and phone numbers can be clicked to start a message thread, or the Contact info can be shared via a message
- Phone — phone numbers can be clicked to begin a Phone call
- Photos — click a Contact's photo to view and send the image (as if from Photos)
- Reminders — a contact's address can be chosen as a Reminder location
- Safari — click URLS in Contacts to open them in Safari
Can Receive data or files from:
- FaceTime — call from new phones/emails can be added to Contacts
- Maps — locations identified with details on maps can create new Contacts
- Mail — email addresses, phones, and street addresses from emails can be added to Contacts
- Messages — messages from new sources, or containing contact info, can be used to add to Contacts
- Phone — phone numbers from the Recent Calls log can be added to Contacts
- Photos — click a Contact's photo in Edit mode to add an image from the Camera Roll
- Safari — addresses, phones, and other identifiers on websites can be sent to new or existing Contact records
