Calendar
can send data to:
- Contacts — event locations can be opened in Maps, then clicked to create new contact info
- FaceTime — phones and emails in an event can be used to open Face Time communications
- Maps — event locations can be opened in Maps
- Mail — email addresses entered in an event can be clicked to send email
- Messages — emails and phones in an event can be used to send messages
- Phone — phone numbers in an event can be dialed
- Safari — URLs in event records can be clicked to open in Safari
Can Receive data from:
- Contacts — can provide address details for an event
- Mail — date and time info in an email can be clicked to enter a Calendar event
- Messages — date and time info in a Message can create a Calendar event
- Safari — date and time info on websites can create a Calendar event
- Other — date and time info which might correspond to an event can be used from some other apps to trigger the creation of a new event record in Calendar.
